Sidamo Bombe

Sidamo Bombe

Mit Pompi – Named after Mount Pompi in the Sidamo region of southern Ethiopia, believed to be the birthplace of coffee. According to legend, a shepherd named Kaldi noticed his flock became unusually energetic after eating strange red cherries, revealing the secret of coffee. What is Peaberry Coffee? This crop is distinguished by its Peaberry type. Normally, coffee cherries contain two seeds that grow flat against each other like halves of a peanut. However, due to a natural mutation affecting about 5% of the coffee harvest, these cherries contain only a single seed, like an only child. This allows the bean to develop smaller size, higher density, greater sweetness, and richer, more complex flavors in the cup compared to regular coffee beans. Flavor Notes: Blackberry, Mango, Jasmine Altitude: 2050-2150 meters Variety: Heirloom Processing: Dried
